DGA was format 25 years ago, as an OS/2 based System Software House. Our primary focus was on packages such as DGAteway, an email gateway connecting the old IBM Office products to the new world of PCs (Lotus Notes and cc:Mail).
Since then we have gained a reputation as "Technical Glue Manufactuers", joining things together that would otherwise not want to talk to each other. For example a few years ago we wrote a suite of programs to move data between the Host email package and Lotus Domino for Safeway supermarkets. We also wrote the software which drives Tracktrans, which is a system to provide communications for Supply Chains.
Originally all our software was OS/2 based, these days we tend to use Open Source solutions, based on Linux. When programming we use Java, at it is platform independant.
In addition to programming, we also do Web site design and implementation.
We can provide assistance in moving to Open Source, both under Windows and then moving to Linux. We can guide you as to the most suitable Open Source equivalents to the programs you use today, and assist in implementing them.
