DGAteway Fixpak 2.0.3 is now available.  

It is for DGAteway 2.0 only.

Download fixpk203.zip [about 900K].  Unzip this file onto a diskette and then change the diskette label to DGAFIXV2003.

This Fixpack diskette contains corrections to problems reported against version 2.0 of DGAteway for Lotus Notes and cc:Mail. It also contains functional enhancements to some of the components.

This diskette supercedes all previous Fixpack diskettes. Corrections and enhancements on previous diskettes have been incorporated on this diskette.

Fixpak 2.0.3 diskette image must be on a diskette with a Volume Label of DGAFIXV2003.

Fixpak Installation Instructions

NOTE: Before installing this diskette you MUST have completed installing the gateway components applicable to your system.

The gateway must not be running when this Fixpack diskette is applied.
    1. Insert the Fixpack diskette in drive A:.
    2. From the 'DGATEWAY' folder click on the 'Gateway Installation & Maintenance' icon. When the 'Installation and Maintenance' panel appears select 'Action' and then from the pull down menu 'Update'.
    3. Click on the 'Update' button to continue the installation.
    4. At the end of the installation close the 'Installation and Maintenance' panel and remove the diskette from drive A:.
    5. You may now restart the gateway.

    ° Lotus Notes. Improved handling and reporting of errors found during processing of outbound mail, especially for Lotus Notes v4 clients.  Modules affected: DGATELN.DLL
    ° Lotus Notes. Improved logging messages during initilization of gateway Server Addin tasks and during 'Processing Mail'.   Modules affected: $DGATELN.EXE, $HOLDMEM.EXE, DGATELOG.DLL
    ° Lotus Notes. Corrected problems with multiple 'DGAteway Notes Domain' documents in the Name and Address book for the same Lotus Notes domain when using the Memorymapper addressing system.   Modules affected: MEMRYMAP.DLL
    ° Lotus Notes. Improved handling of 'DGAteway Foreign Domain' and 'Foreign Domain' documents in the Name and Address book when using the Memorymapper addressing system, including correcting use of 'Default DGN'.   Modules affected: MEMRYMAP.DLL
    ° cc:Mail. Change default setting for 'Convert Return Receipt' to FALSE (ON). This matches the cc:Mail Gateway version 1.x facility in converting an RRQ setting to a SNADS Confirmation of Delivery (COD).   Modules affected: CCLIB.DLL

    ° cc:Mail. TRAP 00D when running PERUSRS utility if the the Index files USERCC and USERSNA are not found. Modules affected: CONFUSRS.EXE, PERUSRS.EXE
    ° SNADS. Added support for special DS1ReceiveTP variable. Modules affected: SNADSCFG.DLL, SNADS2.DLL
    ° SNADS. Corrected error in spelling of default Configuration INI variable. Modules affected: SNADSCFG.DLL
    ° SNADS. Correct Control panel display error when the local Snads node has a DSU name with both RGN and REN specified. Modules affected: SNADS2.DLL
    ° SNADS. Improved OS/2 exception handling and logging for problems occurring during processing of error conditions returned from remote Snads nodes. Modules affected: SNADS2.DLL
    ° SNADS. Improved handling of Sharing violation problems during deletion of various internal files. Modules affected: SNADS2.DLL
    ° Lotus Notes. The Memorymapper Addressing system incorrectly handled some table entries for valid Lotus Notes Name and Address book 'Person' documents. The entries were treated as not found in the table during address conversion, although they were there. Modules affected: MEMRYMAP.DLL
    ° Lotus Notes. Corrected handling of statuses returned from remote system that do not contain the original information sent with the outbound mail. Modules affected: DGATELN.DLL
      1. NOTE: This problem is most likely to occur when connecting to a Verimation MEMO system.
    ° Lotus Notes. The Dgateln Addressing system incorrectly handled Lotus Notes Name and Address book entries that had Fullname fields containing multiple names if one of the names in the list was a NULL entry. Modules affected: DGATELN.DLL
DGAteway FixPack Version 2.0.1   November 1996
    ° cc:Mail. Corrected error in file conversion routines converting the USERCC file between the pre-V2.0 test format and the v2.0 Index file format incorrectly between the 'Friendly DEN' and 'Assigned DEN' fields. Modules affected: CONFUSRS.EXE, PERUSRS.EXE
    ° cc:Mail. Corrected error in cc:Mail User file editor for REMOTE user 'List' option. Modules affected: CHUSRS.EXE
    ° cc:Mail. The export routine puts the 'Outbound' queue into 'Inerror' state after some failures unnecessarily. Modules affected: CCSNADS.EXE
    ° cc:Mail. Added support for cc:Mail Version 6. Modules affected: CCSNADS.EXE
    ° NOTE: It is the customers responsibility to install and configure the gateway as follows before this cc:Mail version 6 can be used.  It is planned to automate some of these requirements in a future release.

    1. Rename the DGAteway v2.0 supplied versions of Import2.exe and Export2.exe to prevent them running.
    2. Install the cc:Mail v6 level of Import/Export in a seperate directory (eg the CCADMIN directory).
    3. Add thes directory where the cc:Mail v6 versions reside to the PATH and LIBPATH environment variables in CONFIG.SYS.
    4. Edit the DGAteway cc:Mail configuration to change the Import/Export program names to be the FULLY-QUALIFIED path and name of the cc:Mail v6 versions.
    5. Edit the cc:Mail v6 CCMAIL.INI file to add the following entry:

    ; Place any Import specific commands here

    Cmd = /DATE/1

    This allows the Import routine to use the date format used by DGAteway in the import file. The export routine can export any date format.

    ° cc:Mail. Correct handling of timestamps in returned status information for inbound mail. Modules affected: CCEAS.DLL
    ° Lotus Notes. Corrected handling of incorrect correlation field in returned Snads statuses for DGAPNDNG.NSF database. Modules affected: DGATELN.DLL

    ° NJE. Added utility support for NJE component. Modules affected: EDITCFG.EXE, DIADOC2.DLL
